The owners of this lakeside home wanted rustic warmth with a refined hand. The walnut and cherry paneling, coffered ceilings, and lake views gave our designer a rich foundation to work with. From there, the layers: furnishings with enough character to hold their own against all that wood, turquoise woven from the bedrooms to the leather seating, copper and burl accents throughout. The result is a home where the details reveal themselves slowly, and every room gives the family another reason to stay put.
