The owners of this foothills home came to us for a full remodel with one request: let the view lead. Our designer handled the cabinetry, furnishings, and finish selections, all chosen to sit quietly under the dark timber frame and give the windows the last word. Swivel chairs in windowpane wool face the plains, velvet and leather layer the bedrooms, and a built-in bench with storage anchors the entry. Every selection had the same job: make the house feel as calm and beautiful as the view it looks out on.
