Ridgemont Chandelier Medium - Shade Bottom - Horse Cutout
Handcrafted in Bellingham, Washington, the Ridgemont Chandelier (Medium) (Model A42159) merges rustic Western aesthetics with functional lighting. The fixture features a distinctive band of horse cutouts along its perimeter, set against a copper-toned metal frame. Suspended from a 5-inch round canopy by curved rods and a central support, it creates a warm, grounded atmosphere for dining rooms, entryways, or covered porches.
Dimensions and Construction
Weighing 26 lbs, the chandelier measures 29 inches high by 27 inches wide. It includes 3 feet of chain and 10 extra feet of wire, providing flexibility for installations in rooms with higher ceilings. The hardware is finished to resist weathering, supporting its UL listing for damp and dry locations. This makes the Ridgemont suitable for covered outdoor patios, entryways, or indoor bathrooms where moisture might be present.
Lighting Specifications
The chandelier requires 7 bulbs total: six facing upward and one downlight. It accepts standard Type A19 and Type PAR20 bulbs (not included). Wattage limits are determined by the bowl material used for the uplights:
- Mica or Paper Bowls: Uplights support a maximum of 60W each; the downlight supports 50W.
- Glass Bowl: Uplights support a maximum of 100W each.
Built to order in the USA, each unit is custom-manufactured to order. The permanent bottom shade focuses light downward, while the open metalwork with horse silhouettes allows ambient light to scatter, mimicking the look of a traditional ranch fixture.
