Wampum is a woven southwest diamond in the eye dazzler tradition. Serrated rings of deep red, tobacco brown, and sand tan radiate out from a central medallion, so a single repeat fills a cushion face the way a rug fills a floor. The wool blend yarns give it a soft, blanket like hand.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 27,000 double rubs, ready for daily furniture use: bench cushions, ottomans, pillows, window seats. It comes 60 inches wide with the diamonds running up the roll. Machine wash it cold and tumble dry on low heat.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
