Our Consultation & Design Process
A sofa covered in fabric you chose, a dining table, a mirror: each takes its own route to your home. This is how most of them get there.
1. Name the piece. A sofa in a fabric you'll pick, a table, a mirror, some art: list it in your request, and a designer calls or emails back in 24–48 hours.
2. Consultation. Your designer meets you at your home, in the showroom or by phone, and takes notes, ideas and measurements for the room.
3. Choose fabric and materials. Select fabric from the design centers, or design off a frame on our floor. Your designer pulls together the wood, iron, finish and any artwork or mirrors, then presents the layout. Approve it, or ask for revisions until it reads right.
4. Made to the plan. Each piece goes to the maker suited to it, whether the job is upholstery, wood, iron or art. The iron comes off a blacksmith's anvil, the reclaimed wood from Midwestern woodworkers who build one piece at a time, and the fabric is the one you held in our showroom.
5. Placed, not just dropped off. The delivery crew unloads and sets up each piece at your place, with your designer directing where the sofa, table, art and mirrors land.
6. Live with it. Sink into the chair, set the table, catch yourself in the new mirror. That's the whole point.

Will it fit my space?
Yes, that's what the consultation is for. Your designer measures the room and sizes the piece from those numbers.
Do you design furniture for commercial spaces?
Yes. Cafés, offices and other businesses get the same custom approach we bring to homes. The commercial design page covers that side of our work.
Can I see your furniture before I commit?
Yes. Furniture fills the Harshaw floor and the Fort Collins floor alike, and the online furniture collection never closes.

Can I pick my own fabric?
