Our Consultation & Design Process
Every knob and pull here gets chosen for the hand that will use it. Your designer looks at the cabinets first, then the doors and drawers, and narrows the metals: brass, forged steel, cast bronze, or a piece our blacksmith partners make from scratch.
1. Tell us about your project. Fill out the form below. A designer will reply within 24–48 hours by email or phone.
2. Consultation. Your designer meets you at your home, in the showroom or by phone, and asks about the doors, drawers and cabinets you're outfitting.
3. Selection & presentation. Your designer pulls knobs, pulls, levers and hinges that fit your cabinets, doors and style, including one-of-a-kind pieces from our blacksmith partners when the catalog won't cut it, and walks you through them for approval or changes.
4. Delivery. Pick it up at the showroom, have our team deliver it, or we ship it to you.
5. Feel the difference. Every time you open a door or a drawer.

Can you get one-of-a-kind, hand-forged hardware?
Yes. When the catalog won't cut it, we can have pieces made fully custom, hand-forged in wrought iron by our blacksmith partners or cast in bronze.
Can you pick hardware to go with my custom cabinets?
Yes. Hardware is part of how a cabinet looks and feels, so our designers choose the two together. Start with our cabinet design services, or ask about hardware on its own.
How do I get started?

Can I see hardware in person?
Yes. Our Fort Collins showroom displays Ashley Norton cabinet hardware and pieces from our blacksmith partners. Harshaw also shows Rocky Mountain Hardware, and we can order any of it for either location.
