Our Consultation & Design Process
Window treatments are made to the measurement, so the order of things matters. Here's how a project usually runs.
1. Share your windows. Send the form below and choose Window Treatments. Expect to hear back by phone or email within 24–48 hours.
2. Measure at home. Your designer visits, looks at how each room gets used and where the light falls, and takes exact measurements of every window.
3. Pick fabric and style. Your designer brings options in fabric, color and style that work for the room, the bedding and the furniture already there. Approve them, or send us back for different ones.
4. Built in the workroom. Our workroom partners make each treatment to the measurements taken at your windows.
5. Installed. Our installers put every piece up in your home.
6. Draw them closed. Then open them again in the morning.
What you get
- A tape measure at every one of your windows, held by the designer planning the room
- Drapery and shades picked alongside your bedspread, pillows and the sofa they'll frame
- Each panel and shade built by our workroom partners to those numbers, then hung by our installers

Floor-length drapery, roman and woven-wood shades, blinds and valances. They work alone or stacked together, like a woven shade that tames the afternoon sun under drapery that softens the whole wall.
Do you measure and install?
Yes. Nothing gets ordered off a guess: your designer measures in your home, and once the workroom finishes, our installers arrive to hang everything.
Can the windows match my bedding and furniture?
That's the point. The fabric at the window gets chosen with the quilt on the bed and the pillows on the sofa, and color consulting, part of our interior design work, can carry the palette across the whole space.
Which showrooms handle window treatments?
Both of them, in Fort Collins, Colorado and Harshaw, Wisconsin. Just name the closer one when you write in.
