This family wanted their log home to feel as good inside as it looks from the water. Our designer delivered: reclaimed barnwood cabinetry, leathered granite with a rough-chiseled edge, and mica pendant lights that throw the whole kitchen amber at night. Downstairs, a distressed black bar gives the lower level its own personality and a reason to linger. Every room was built around how they actually live: dinners at the island, game days by the fire, a full house on holiday weekends. The result is a home that works as hard as it welcomes.
