Product Details

The Appaloosa Throw is a 60×72-inch faux-fur wrap featuring a cream base with chocolate and black spots. This 100% polyester blanket mimics the organic texture of animal hide, bringing a rustic, woodland aesthetic to living rooms and bedrooms. The irregular spot pattern adds a bold, natural element to modern or farmhouse decor styles, serving as a visual anchor in neutral spaces.

Designed for versatility, this throw is ideal for draping over a sofa to protect upholstery while adding texture, or keeping at the foot of the bed for added warmth. The dense, high-pile fabric is both soft to the touch and visually striking, offering the luxurious feel of fur without the ethical concerns of real animal products.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
