Ascent Shadow is a fine geometric weave in black on pale stone gray, tight rows of small dots and dashes that read as a solid across the room and a pattern in hand. A workhorse neutral with more going on than a flat solid.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 33,000 double rubs, built for hard daily use: sofas, dining seats, ottomans, benches. The cloth is 54 inches wide, running up the roll. Dry clean.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
