Bold Buffalo Leather Pillow

The buffalo is the most painted animal in Western art, almost always shown the same way: brown body, brown ground, brown sky. This one breaks every part of that. The body is built in bands of teal, purple, lime, and orange against a red field scattered with white and lavender stars. Same animal, different century.
