Buffalo Head Leather Pillow

Sixty million buffalo once moved across the plains; by 1890 fewer than a thousand were left. The herd that survived did so on a few private ranches and a corner of Yellowstone. The portrait holds one in close profile, the heavy head turned and the dense shoulder mane drawn in burnished sepia, the curved horn catching the light. The print is held on genuine chamois leather that takes a patina with age, set inside a cognac faux suede border and a hickory brown leather frame in real or faux, with welt and back in cognac suede.
