Cabin Bear is an Italian-woven wool blend that tells the whole lodge story in bands: brown bears walking past a log cabin and pines on tan, snowcapped mountain diamonds in rust on deep green, olive treelines on burgundy, and a slate blue band of triangles between them. The colors are deep and blanket-warm.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 27,000 double rubs, ready for daily furniture use: bench cushions, ottomans, pillows, window seats. The cloth is 60 inches wide, running up the roll. It machine washes in cold water.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
