Carob is a velvet-faced solid in muted taupe brown, a gray-leaning neutral with a soft nap that shifts slightly as the light moves. Quieter than chocolate, warmer than gray.

It is rated to 120,000 double rubs, the toughest rating in the line, ready for furniture that works every day. The cloth is 57 inches wide, running up the roll. It machine washes in cold water.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
