Chuparosa is a textured weave in garnet red flecked with cream, the pattern breaking into soft vertical bands like a handwoven ikat. It reads as rich red texture across a room and reveals its detail up close.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 50,000 double rubs, ready for hard daily use: sofas, dining seats, ottomans, benches. Woven in the USA with 26% post-consumer recycled polyester, 58 inches wide and railroaded, so long pieces cut without seams. It machine washes in cold water.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
