Deer Meadow is an Italian-woven wool blend banded like a wildlife blanket: deer grazing among pines on a rust ground, bears walking a band of deep teal, paw prints crossing warm brown, with diamond lattice and zigzag stripes stitching the scenes together. The palette is autumn in cloth, rust, teal, and tobacco.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 27,000 double rubs, ready for daily furniture use: bench cushions, ottomans, pillows, window seats. The cloth is 60 inches wide, running up the roll. It machine washes in cold water.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
