Greystone is a solid wool blend in a deep, even grey, the color of ash and weathered bark. The surface is smooth and felted with a fine flecked grain, warm to the hand the way wool cloth is.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 27,000 double rubs, ready for daily furniture use: bench cushions, ottomans, pillows, window seats. It runs 60 inches wide and is non-directional, so cutting wastes nothing. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
