Product Details

Anchoring the foot of a bed with structured Scandinavian style, the Nordic Bed Scarf features a deep navy surface accented by grey snowflake motifs, geometric diamond patterns, and a bold red zigzag band. Crafted from a durable blend of 25% wool, 40% acrylic, 30% polyester, and 5% other fibers, this 24-inch-wide decorative runner adds textural depth and warmth to the sleeping area.

Designed specifically for King and Queen mattresses, the scarf prevents large beds from looking visually floating or incomplete. The Queen size measures 88 x 24 inches, while the King size spans 106 x 24 inches. This precise width ensures the runner lays flush across the footboard, anchoring linen layers without extending too far toward the floor. It fits neatly between nightstands or dressers, maintaining clear walkway space while delivering an updated, coordinated look that works seasonally or as a permanent accent.

The visual design is anchored by a large central grey snowflake on the navy field, complemented by a horizontal red zigzag accent and small grey cross motifs. The perimeter is finished with durable grey blanket stitching, which reinforces the edges against daily contact and helps the pattern remain crisp over time. This rugged border detail strengthens the ends of the scarf, ensuring longevity with regular use.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
