The Painted Desert Hooded Throw combines the richly colored pattern of the Painted Desert fabric with a comfortable, wearable design. Turquoise, deep blue, warm brown, plum, and soft gray come together in a bold Southwestern-inspired pattern with plenty of depth and character. A generous cowl, two-button closure, and blanket stitch edging add thoughtful finishing details.

Materials and Details

Crafted from a soft yet durable washable wool blend made from 40% acrylic, 30% polyester, 25% wool, and 5% other fibers. Woven in Italy using up to 90% recycled fibers, the fabric offers warmth and comfort while remaining easy to care for.

The hooded design features a generous cowl for comfortable wearing, along with a two-button closure with stitched buttonholes. A decorative blanket stitch edge completes the look. Expert craftsmanship in the United States completes the design.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
