A solid smoky gray-brown with the look of weathered leather: soft mottling and faint pale scuff marks drift across a smooth, low-napped surface. It is a woven polyester blend, not hide, with the color of an old well-used jacket.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 15,000 double rubs, suited to pillows, cushions, and accent pieces. It is 55.5 inches wide and non-directional, so cutting wastes nothing, and it should be dry cleaned.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
