The Smoky Mountain Close-to-Ceiling Small fixture (Model M47572) brings Eastlake-style craftsmanship to spaces with standard or low ceilings. Measuring 10 inches high by 8 inches wide, this ceiling light features a dark metal frame with a geometric, tiered canopy and a conical shade. The shade is constructed with amber-tinted, textured glass panels set within a dark metal grid, creating a warm, rustic ambiance typical of Arts and Crafts interiors.
Designed to mount close to the ceiling, it saves vertical space with a 5-inch square backplate and weighs 6 lbs for sturdy installation. The fixture is UL listed for both damp and dry locations, making it suitable for covered porches, entryways, bathrooms, or interior hallways where humidity might be a factor.
- Dimensions: 10 in. high x 8 in. wide, with a 5 in. square backplate.
- Lamping: Accepts one standard household-style A21 bulb (150W max). It is compatible with screw-in LED bulbs of equivalent wattage output.
- Usage: Rated for damp and dry locations, allowing use in both indoor rooms and covered outdoor areas.
- Special order; non-stocking. Typically made to order and ships in about 3–4 weeks.
- Free Shipping. Ships free to the lower 48 states.
This semi-flush mount light serves as a practical focal point for hallways, mudrooms, or covered decks where a pendant would hang too low. The standard A21 socket ensures easy bulb swaps, and the damp rating allows the fixture to transition seamlessly from a porch to an indoor entryway.
