Unlike a traditional blanket, this throw functions like a wearable poncho, draping elegantly with a curved hemline and visible stitching along the edges. A small dark leather tag is sewn into the bottom corner.

Crafted from a wool blend (50% acrylic, 25% polyester, 20% wool, 5% other), this throw combines the softness and durability of synthetic fibers with the natural insulation of wool. It is ideal for layering over a sofa or taking on outdoor trips where a full blanket is impractical. To maintain the fabric texture, machine wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
