Product Details

Solid Spice is a brick red wool blend with the warmth of rust and paprika in it. The surface is brushed and sueded, with darker fibers scattered through the nap, so the red reads aged rather than bright.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 27,000 double rubs, ready for daily furniture use: bench cushions, ottomans, pillows, window seats. It comes 60 inches wide and is railroaded, so long pieces cut without seams. Machine wash it cold and tumble dry on low heat.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
