Solid Turquoise is a muted teal wool blend that sits between blue and green, closer to weathered turquoise stone than to anything tropical. Fine darker fibers heather through the surface and the tight weave keeps it smooth with a soft hand.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 27,000 double rubs, ready for daily furniture use: bench cushions, ottomans, pillows, window seats. It comes 60 inches wide and is non-directional, so cutting wastes nothing. Machine wash it cold and tumble dry on low heat.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
