Its airy, open "cage" contains a short metal cylinder from which the light emanates. By focusing the light downward, light pollution is reduced and the effective lighting helps to increase path safety.
The aluminum comes in 8 finishes: Coastal Burnished Steel, White, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Coastal Bronze, Coastal Dark Smoke and Coastal Black, plus Marine Grade White and Marine Grade Black at an upcharge.
