Product Details

Sugar Pine is a smooth polyester suede in a solid olive toned brown, the color of oiled saddle leather with a little green in it. The surface is even and matte, with just enough shading in the nap to keep it from looking flat.

It is an upholstery fabric rated to 100,000 double rubs, ready for hard daily use: sofas, dining seats, ottomans, benches. It comes 57 inches wide and the surface is non-directional, so cutting wastes nothing. Machine wash it cold and tumble dry on low heat.

Sold by the yard, cut to order.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
