Product Details

Every kid has a clubhouse, and every clubhouse has a rule about who gets in. This one is a treehouse in the pines with Cub House lettered on the wall and a Private flag hung from the eaves. One cub stands in the doorway, two climb the ladder, and a fourth waits below by the tire swing.

A paint can dangles from a rope, and the brush stays loose in the forest so the treehouse and cubs hold the eye. It belongs in a kid's room or a bunk house.

About the Line

Marilynn Dwyer Mason was born and raised in southwest Montana and has drawn since childhood. She paints in pastel, watercolor, acrylic, oil, and pen and ink. Influenced by Philip Goodwin, John Singer Sargent, and Oliver Kemp, her work captures the nostalgia of early-twentieth-century outdoor life and the American West, including her Mason Bear series.

From her studio in Butte, Montana, her paintings are offered as giclée prints on canvas, hand stretched and set in birch bark and wild-harvested willow frames. Each frame is one of a kind.
