Tusk is a faux leather in a pale grey taupe, made of polyester with a polyurethane face. The surface carries a fine pebbled grain with soft shading across it, so it reads like a light, even hide.

It is an upholstery fabric suited to pillows, cushions, and accent pieces, rated to 15,000 double rubs. It comes 54 inches wide and the surface is non-directional, so cutting wastes nothing. It wipes clean with a damp cloth.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
