Wisley Close-to-Ceiling - Plain
Pictured in Finish #02-Rust Patina.
The Wisley Close-to-Ceiling fixture (model A47401) combines rustic metalwork with compact dimensions to deliver warm, diffused lighting in tight spaces. Measuring 6 inches high and 12 inches wide, this flush mount ceiling light installs directly against the surface via a 5-inch round backplate, making it an ideal choice for hallways, bathrooms, and entryways where pendant clearance is limited. The fixture weighs 8 pounds and features a textured, warm-toned metal frame that supports a wide, translucent frosted glass shade, softening the glow to reduce glare.
Engineered for versatility, this fixture is UL listed for damp and dry locations. This rating ensures safe installation in high-moisture areas like bathrooms or in covered outdoor zones such as porches and patios. The plain glass shade and textured metal construction provide a rustic aesthetic that complements traditional interiors without overwhelming the ceiling.
Lamping and Compatibility
The Wisley accepts three Type B11 torpedo-style bulbs, rated for a maximum of 60 watts each. This configuration allows for easy replacement with energy-efficient LED bulbs that match the original lumen output. Its standard socket setup and compact profile make it a practical, low-maintenance lighting solution for both indoor corridors and weather-protected outdoor areas.
Special order; non-stocking. Typically made to order and ships in about 3–4 weeks.
