The Wooded River Bear Throw brings an outdoors-inspired touch to your space with a rich red background and a detailed scene of a bear, evergreens, and distant mountains. A coordinating patterned border along the bottom adds another layer of detail while complementing the warm, earthy palette.

Materials and Sizing

Crafted from a washable wool blend of 40% acrylic, 30% polyester, 25% wool, and 5% other materials. Woven in Italy using up to 90% recycled fibers and sewn in the United States by expert craftspeople.

About the Line

Wooded River started in 1998 as a small clothing company in Idaho's Treasure Valley, named for the Boise River ("Boise" is French for wooded). The garment work grew into blankets and, before long, full bedding collections. The landscape has set the palette the whole time.

Every piece is still made to order. A single throw for a cabin or bedding for a national park lodge, sewn either way by hands that have worked those tables for 20 years or more.
